The Braves returned to Sterling State Park for their second race on the course this season. Eleven runners improved their times from the Jefferson Invite (9/19), and nine athletes placed in the top 20, including five in the top 14.

In the girls’ race, Isabella Inman earned a strong runner-up finish, placing 2nd in 7:53.9 with a 10-second improvement. Isabel Conn also dropped time, placing 18th in 10:04.5 (8-second improvement) out of 62 runners. Lacey Macon came through in 40th at 12:11.5, followed by Tiffany Perecki in 43rd (12:27.5), Josephine Atherton in 50th (13:51.0), and Brooklyn Bryant in 51st (14:09.1). Claira Bolthouse finished 54th (14:51.6), and Quinn Downer rounded out the team in 62nd with a 9-second improvement at 21:21.3.

In the boys’ race, the Braves had four athletes in the top 14, led by Landon Maudrie in 7th at 8:30.2, Christian Miller in 10th (8:35.9), Maksym Glodowski in 11th (8:38.8), and Adam Zimmerman in 14th (8:52.5) out of 55 runners. Lucas Vajen followed in 19th with a time of 9:09.6. Justin Block ran one of the biggest improvements of the day, placing 22nd in 9:41.2, a 2-minute, 41-second drop. Beckett Leja took 32nd in 10:56.8, 23 seconds faster than his previous effort, while Joshua William Bronstein finished 35th in 11:14.6, improving by 28 seconds. Brandon Bryant ran 38th in 11:33.6, shaving off one second, and Dylan Maudrie crossed in 40th at 11:43.2. Leo Motyka placed 44th in 12:47.8 with an 8-second improvement, just ahead of Bruce Korytkowski in 45th (13:12.2) and Odin Carroll in 46th, who cut an impressive 3 minutes and 50 seconds to finish in 13:12.3. Jace Downer ran 47th in 15:31.2, improving by 1 minute and 44 seconds, while Koleson Bonner finished 48th (15:46.9), Henry Allen 49th (15:47.9), and Silas Block 50th (16:06.8). Closing out the Braves were Robert Cardinal in 51st (16:24.3), Everett Cardinal in 52nd (16:35.0), and Axel Watkins in 55th with a 1-minute, 3-second improvement at 17:48.6.
