The New Boston Braves wrapped up league competition on another warm, sunny evening at their home course at Willow Metropark. It was a great night of racing and improvement across the board — the girls’ team collectively dropped 7 minutes and 33 seconds from their times run at the Huron Invite, while the boys cut an impressive 11 minutes and 12 seconds overall. Way to go, Braves!

In the girls’ race, Isabella Inman led the way as the Huron League Champion, finishing in 8:39.8, a 21-second improvement from her last race. Isabel Conn placed in the top half of the field, taking 21st (11:39.4) with a 3-minute drop. She was followed closely by Tiffany Perecki, 28th (12:38.2, 1-second improvement), and Lacey Macon, 29th (12:38.2, 2-second improvement). Additional finishers included Josephine Atherton in 43rd (16:16.8), Claira Bolthouse 44th (16:37.4, 2:35 improvement), Brooklyn Bryant 48th (17:27.7), Ali Wiley 49th (17:43.0), and Quinn Downer 56th (22:52.9, 1:34 improvement) out of 56 runners.

In the boys’ race, the Braves had four runners finish in the top 14. Landon Maudrie led the team with a 5th-place finish (8:54.7, 1:13 improvement), followed by Grayson Kosenko in 9th (9:17.1), Lucas Vajen 10th (9:24.7, 59-second improvement), and Maksym Glodowski 11th (9:41.4). Justin Block placed 20th (11:08.0, 34-second improvement) and Edward Jackson 21st (11:10.7), both finishing in the top half of the field. Additional finishers included Beckett Leja 29th (11:33.4, 25-second improvement), Joshua William Bronstein 31st (11:50.6, 1:04 improvement), Wyatt Gillman 32nd (11:54.4, 3:30 improvement), Dylan Maudrie 33rd (11:56.5, 1:01 improvement), and Brandon Bryant 34th (12:09.6, 15-second improvement). Rounding out the team were Leo Motyka 42nd (15:19.9), Grant Kosenko 43rd (15:20.1), Everett Cardinal 44th (17:36.0, 1-second improvement), Robert Cardinal 45th (18:21.0), Koleson Bonner 46th (18:36.0), Gabriel Block 47th (18:39.6), Jace Downer 48th (18:59.7, 1:29 improvement), Silas Block 49th (20:00.5, 41-second improvement), Bruce Korytkowski 53rd (21:05.6), and Axel Watkins 54th (21:16.4) out of 54 runners.
